Noor Abu Dhabi is one of the first initiatives to deliver the UAE’s Energy Strategy 2050. Having more than 1200 MW Capacity of fully operational photovoltaic technology marks a significant milestone.
The main substations of Noor Abu Dhabi consist of 33 KV switchgears and two 500 MVA power transformers. The power transformers are used to increase the power voltage from 33 KV to 220 KV and deliver power to TRANASCO Grid via 220 KV cables.
