Our Impact

Noor Abu Dhabi core mission is to increase Abu Dhabi’s production of renewable energy, reduce its reliance on natural gas and decrease its carbon emissions by one million tonnes, which is equivalent to taking 200,000 cars off the roads. It also seeks to provide enough power to meet the energy demand of 90,000 household.

Noor Abu Dhabi is one of the first initiatives to deliver the UAE’s Energy Strategy 2050. Having more than 1200 MW Capacity of fully operational photovoltaic technology marks a significant milestone.
